The owners are nearby for help if you need it. The Peninsula has its own Doctor, Ambulance, Coast Guard and Fire Service.

Location
Swimming, sailing, body boarding and fishing are all available at the end of the garden next to this luxury holiday cottage. Decorated in homage to the Victorian Highlands, the cottage boasts views of Loch Sunart, the ancient forests of Ardnamurchan and the Morvern hills.
Set by Camas Inas Burn, you can see deer, pine martens, eagles and badgers in the front garden.
On the Loch you can see Dolphins, Otters and Seals and a wonderful view of Beinn Resipol, one of the better-known Corbetts, renowned as a viewpoint - one of the finest in Scotland - due to its great position close to the west coast in Sunart.
Tobermory, Glen Coe, Beinn Nevis, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and the sandy beaches of Sanna and Kentra are all nearby.
Right next door there is the RSPB bird reserve, Ardnamurchan Distillery and plenty of easy, but stunning walks. A short drive takes you to Tioram Castle and further afield, the Gateway to the Isles, Fort William, Mallaig and views of the The Northern Lights, Eigg and Rum.

How to get here
Passing through GlenCoe and towards Fort William is the Coran Ferry which takes you across to the peninsula. You can also drive around the peninsula, through Bonnie Prince Charlie and Harry Potter country and see the Glenfinnan Viaduct with the Hogwarts steam train. Shimmering off the coast, on your left you will see the Isles of Rum and Eigg. The overnight sleeper train passes Loch Lomond and then over Rannoch Moor on a classic rail journey arriving in Fort William where you can hire a car.
ACCOMMODATION
An t'Abhall is a cozy cottage in the Highlands of Scotland. Recently renovated it can now accommodate up to four people at any time of the year, including Christmas and New Year. It is furnished to a high standard, with all the amenities you will need for a relaxing holiday.
An open fire and central heating will keep you warm and comfortable.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds which can be joined.
The bathroom has a walk in shower.
The modern fully equipped kitchen has every appliance you will need.
Picture windows give a good view of Loch Sunart and the Morvern Hills.
By the burn there is a small garden to watch passing wildlife, with feeding tables for the birds, pine martens, deer and badgers.
It has high speed broadband, TV and a good mobile telephone signal.
There are five steps up to the entrance, but everything else is on one level.
DESCRIPTION OF FACILITIES
Kitchen:The fully-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, induction hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer.
Local shops, pubs and restaurants are nearby and the fishman calls once a week.
You can always arrange a delivery from Morrisons supermarket in Fort William
Garden: You can listen to the babbling burn which runs beside the loch from the loch in the hills behind the cottage. Late afternoon, the deer will wander down and then the badgers and pine martens arrive when it is dark. You can see them from the front picture windows of the cottage and our new wildlife camera.Direct acces to the loch is through a track in front of the cottage.
Fishing: The loch is perfect for fishing. Bring your rod and reel and spend a day on the water.No licence is required to fish lochside. You can swim, body board or paddle on the loch and a mooring is also available. You can also hire a boat or go on one of the several guided tours of the area.

All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided as well as a welcome pack with locally sourced food and a small dram of whisky and a bottle of wine.
The open fire with a supply of wood will keep you cosy but we also have a modern heat pump central heating system.As we are in a remote area, we have a natural water supply from Camas Inas Burn at the side of the cottage which is filtered and cleaned. We live nearby and drink it, but there will be a small supply of bottled water on arrival which you can use if you prefer.

Swimming or sailing: The loch is perfect for water sports. Rent a boat and spend a day on the water.
Hiking: Explore the stunning natural beauty of the Scottish highlands with a hike. There are many trails to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging. There are lots of guide books in the cottage.
Beaches: The cottage is located near white sandy beaches, many of which are quite deserted.Spend a day relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun or swim in the loch in front of the cottage.
Wildlife:The surrounding forests are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including deer, pine martins, badgers, eagles, otters, dolphins, and eagles. There is probably more vafriety of wildlife here on our secluded peninsula than in most of the country
Fishing The loch is perfect for fishing. Bring your rod and reel and spend a day on the water.
Your dog is welcome to join you for your holiday.
Day trips:The Ardnamurchan Peninsula is a great place to explore. Take the ferry across to Mull and have lunch at Tobermory or visit Glen Coe and Ben Nevis. You can also visit famous locations from the Harry Potter films and travel on the Hogwarts Express across the Glefinnan Viaduct.The white sandy beaches are often deserted. Every where you turn there is something spectacular to see from volcanic remains to soaring mountainsand lochs.
